How to calculate how many DPO you are
DPO means days past ovulation. Count the days from your ovulation date to today: the day after ovulation is 1 DPO. If you do not know when you ovulated, the calculator places ovulation 14 days before your next expected period. You also get your implantation window and the first day a home pregnancy test is reliable. Every date is an estimate.

What does DPO mean?
DPO stands for days past ovulation. Ovulation day is 0 DPO and the next day is 1 DPO. It is used during the two-week wait to know what can be expected on each day.
How many DPO am I?
Subtract your ovulation date from today. For example, ovulation on 10 May means that on 20 May you are 10 DPO. If you only know your last period, ovulation is usually about 14 days before your next period: in a 28-day cycle, around day 14.
When does implantation happen?
Between 6 and 12 DPO, most often 8 to 10 DPO. Some people notice light spotting around that time; many do not.
How many DPO can I take a pregnancy test?
A home test is reliable from about 14 DPO, around the day your period is due. Sensitive tests can sometimes show a positive from 10 to 12 DPO, but a negative result that early does not rule out pregnancy: repeat it a few days later.
Are there symptoms at 5, 7 or 10 DPO?
Cramps, sore breasts or tiredness at these points are common in any cycle because of progesterone, so they cannot tell you whether you are pregnant. Only a test can.
How accurate is the DPO calculator with irregular periods?
With irregular cycles, the estimate from your last period can be several days off. An ovulation date from an LH test or basal temperature is much closer, so choose that option if you have it.
